Member Terms

These terms govern your use of FairwaySwap, operated by FairwaySwap LLC ("FairwaySwap," "we," or "us"). By creating an account or using the network, you agree to them. FairwaySwap is a free service that introduces verified club members to one another for reciprocal guest play. It is a way for golfers to connect. It is not a club, a booking agent, or a party to any round you arrange.
Your club's rules are your responsibility
Every club sets its own policies on guest play, reciprocity, fees, booking, conduct, dress, and access. You are solely responsible for knowing and following the rules of your own club and of any club you visit or host at. Before you host or accept an invitation, confirm that your club permits the arrangement. FairwaySwap does not verify, interpret, or enforce any club's policies, and arranging a round through the network is never permission to override them.
Eligibility and verification
Membership is limited to current members of a golf club who provide accurate identifying information, including a valid GHIN number. Our verification confirms that you appear to be a current club member. It is not a background check, a character reference, or a guarantee about any member. You agree to keep your information accurate and to use the network only while you remain a club member in good standing.
Guest fees
Guests pay their own guest fees directly to the host club unless a host expressly chooses to cover them. FairwaySwap does not collect, process, hold, or guarantee any payment, and is not responsible for fees, charges, or disputes between members or with any club.
Introductions only, no endorsement
FairwaySwap introduces members to one another and provides tools to communicate. We do not screen members beyond GHIN verification, do not supervise rounds, and do not endorse, vouch for, or guarantee any member, their conduct, their club, or the availability or quality of any guest play. You are responsible for deciding who you choose to host or play with.
Member conduct
You agree to treat other members and their clubs with respect, to provide accurate information, to honor commitments you make, and to follow all applicable club rules and laws. Harassment, misrepresentation, discrimination, or any use of the network to harm others is prohibited.
Assumption of risk and release
You use FairwaySwap and participate in any round at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release FairwaySwap and its operators from any and all claims, losses, injuries, damages, or liabilities arising out of or relating to your use of the network, any introduction made through it, any round you play or host, the conduct of any member, or any interaction with any club. This includes claims for personal injury, property damage, and financial loss.
Our right to suspend or remove members
FairwaySwap may suspend, restrict, or remove any member, and may decline or revoke verification, at our sole discretion and at any time, with or without notice or reason. Grounds include but are not limited to inaccurate information, conduct we consider inappropriate, failure to follow a club's policies, complaints from members or clubs, or any use that we believe could harm the network or its members.
Member information and privacy
Your GHIN is visible to other verified members to support trust. Your phone number and email remain private unless you choose to display them in your settings, or you choose to share them directly with another member. You are responsible for what you choose to share. Do not share other members' information outside the network without their consent.
No warranties
FairwaySwap is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error free operation. We do not guarantee that the network will produce any particular round, host, or result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FairwaySwap and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the network. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service, which for a free service is zero dollars.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FairwaySwap and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the network, your conduct, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any club policy or applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the network after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict of law principles. FairwaySwap LLC is a Florida limited liability company.
